You know what we mean - your shirt is already sticking to your back at 9:00 in the morning and it’ll only get worse when the sun gets higher. Fortunately the fish are still chowing, so now all you need is a line for your favorite trout rod that won’t wilt in the heat. Built with a hard coating and medium stiff core, the Dog Days Gold is perfectly equipped for those summer scorchers. Whether on an August float in the northern Rockies where the deck of the dirftboat bakes in the sun, trout fishing with hight heat indices of the Southeast, or casting bluegill on ponds during hot summer evenings, the Dog Days Gold is built to take on and protect against the hottest of air temperatures.
