Modern Wets with Cory Golden LIVE
January 13th we hosted a live fly tying event on our YouTube channel featuring friend of the shop Cory Golden. Cory is a wonderful tyer who specializes in traditional tying techniques and materials.
He is currently the President of the Adams Chapter Trout Unlimited and a recent recipient of the Fly Dresser's Guild Gold Award.
First, he treated us to an original called the Ontonagon Ranger which he developed for Brook Trout in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Second, he tied a fly for trout adapted from tradition Atlantic Salmon flies, the iconic Silver Doctor.

Lastly, he decided to tie us a bonus Lead Wing Coachman, a fly that seems to just keep working.
