DETAILS
This is a super friendly fly to tie & fish. Here, we tied a fairly classic rusty color scheme but wild colors like purple or chartreuse can work too! If I was loading up a box with these I would have rusty, olive, black, white, purple, and chartreuse.
Fish the Jawbreaker on a floating line with a long leader and lots of pauses to accentuate the jigging motion. You can also fish this on a sink tip and craw it along the bottom when fish are less willing to move up in the water column. Be sure to use a loop knot from leader to fly to maximize fly movement!
