Ice Pick Tutorial
This has been one of my favorite flies for years. It is quick to tie and easy to customize for any fishery. You can stick to the single hook fly we showcase here or build this into a articulated monster.

FISHING NOTES
This is a fly that can be fished on a floating line or sink tip. The baitfish head adds some weight but really just serves to assist in subsurface orientation and gives us a convenient recessed spot to put the eyes. When tied with the MFC Sparkle Minnow Brush, these flies can be surprisingly quick to tie. Play with different color schemes to match the resident baitfish in your stream and get fishing!
