Hackle Stacker Trico Tutorial

Comparaduns and Sparkle Duns are some of the most effective mayfly imitations but difficult to tie much smaller than a size 16. The Hackle Stacker allows tyers to create a similar profile in smaller sizes.

MATERIALS

• Hook: TMC 100 or U002
• Thread: Veevus 10/0
• Tails: Spade Hackle
• Body: Flashabou Opal Mirage
• Hackle: Whiting 100 Saddles
• Dubbing: Superfine Black

• Vise: Renzetti Traveler
• Bobbin: Rite Bobbin
