Get started fly fishing with The Northern Angler

These classes will be a full day of instruction covering everything you need to get started with fly fishing. Open to everyone ages 16 and up. Class sizes are small to ensure direct instruction from experienced instructors for each student.

Topics covered include: equipment, various casts and their applications, ethics and etiquette, fish behavior, and knots, among others. Additionally, and most excitingly, you'll have the opportunity to practice and apply what you've learned by fishing with a guide for bass and bluegill on a local lake.

If you have a group, we would be happy to put together a private class for you. This is perfect for a group of friends, corporate retreats, team building, and families.

Most orders will ship within 1-2 business days.

Currently we are only offering shipping within the United States, rates are as follows:

Stickers Only = $1.00 Ground

Flies Only = $5.00 Ground

Under $50 = $7.95 Ground

Over $50 = Free Ground Shipping

All orders will be shipped Standard Ground or Priority. Express shipping is available for an extra charge. Simply request express shipping by leaving a note when you check out and we will contact you with a quote.

Due to the recent increases in shipping costs, customers will be responsible for return shipping costs.
