Trout VersiLeaders are an instantaneous addition that converts floating lines to sink tips.

RIO's Trout VersiLeaders are designed for the fly fisher who needs a quick-change option for converting a floating line to a sink tip. Each Versileader is tapered for the best in performance and has a 12lb nylon core coated in PVC. A neat, bullet-proof welded loop at the butt end allows for fast rigging.

Keep your tippet spools organized and ready to go at a moments notice. The Switch holders unique design lets you choose either a horizontal or vertical orientation on your sling pack, vest or boat bag.  Powder coated aluminum construction.

RIO's Light Saltwater shock leaders feature a tough fluorocarbon shock tippet that protects the leader from teeth, gill plates and spines, and are ideal for snook, small tarpon and similar "problem" species.

The main body of the leader is made with a stiff nylon that tapers down to 16lb before being tied to the shock tippet.

The 10ft design is tied with a heavy butt section for wind penetration and turnover, a class tippet for rod and fish protection, and a fluorocarbon bite tippet for abrasion resistance.
