Adams TU Awarded Grant

The Adams Chapter was just awarded an Embrace A Stream grant for $6500. There is also an opportunity to raise more through a crowdfunding campaign organized by Trout Unlimited with some matching funds from Orvis. This offer runs from November 4 through November 10.

Donate To This Boardman River Project

The project is to restore a now abandoned sand trap on the Boardman's North Branch. The sand trap was build around 1994 and the site now has bare and eroding stream banks, no shade, and no in stream structure for fish.  The Chapter will also repair an upstream bend as part of this project.

The Adams Chapter is working with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and The Grand Traverse Conservation District. The MDNR Fisheries Management Biologist is the sponsoring professional.
