Great Lakes Mega-Lollipop - Fly Tying Tutorial
The Megalollipop is a bold, modern streamer with saltwater roots that translates perfectly to Great Lakes bass fishing. In this fly-tying tutorial, Marco walks through his approach to tying the Megalollipop—breaking down materials, proportions, and the small details that make this pattern swim, push water, and hold up to aggressive fish.
This olive/tan color scheme works wonders for clear water & pressured fish but we also like to tie this pattern in all olive, black, and white. If you don't know where to start, remember to try and match the bottom color of the water you're fishing. You're welcome to add a little flash over the arctic fox wing to spice things up and really grab the attention of big bass.
