This year we're offering a variety of class options for all skill levels!

Our intro classes are designed around learning the basic techniques and manipulating the core materials you'll need to tie just about every fly out there. Throughout the four-week session, your instructor will guide you step-by-step through tying some of our favorite patterns. You'll leave with a new set of skills and ready to tie and fish your own creations. All necessary tools & materials will be provided.

Thursday evenings 6:30pm-8:30pm in January & February

January Into Session: 1/4, 1/11, 1/18, 1/25
February Intro Session: 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22

For tyers that have taken our intro class or have a good grasp of the basics, we offer a fun intermediate class that focuses on showcasing essential Northern Michigan patterns and expanding your abilities at the vise. All materials provided.

March Intermediate Session: 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4

New this year are Matt's Custom Classes where you can drop in for an afternoon and learn a new skill or specific pattern at the vise. All classes will be held Sunday afternoons at the shop 1-3pm. All materials provided.

Spinning & Trimming Deer Hair: Sunday, February 4th
Essential Michigan Dries: Sunday, February 18th
Big flies for Pike: Sunday, March 3rd
Smallmouth Flies: Sunday, March 17th

ALL SALES ARE FINAL FOR TYING CLASSES

Currently we are only offering shipping within the United States, rates are as follows:

Stickers Only = $1.00 Ground

Flies Only = $5.00 Ground

Under $50 = $7.95 Ground

Over $50 = Free Ground Shipping

All orders will be shipped Standard Ground or Priority. Express shipping is available for an extra charge. Simply request express shipping by leaving a note when you check out and we will contact you with a quote.

Due to the recent increases in shipping costs, customers will be responsible for return shipping costs.
