Tying Trout Streamers with Matt Hartman

Matt is the manager of The Northern Angler and the guy you may have seen behind the vise on most of our YouTube tying videos. He enjoys teaching tying most winters and putting together all the fly tying events hosted by the shop.
COYOTE UGLY:
"This is a simple sculpin fly on a jig hook that uses coyote spun in a dubbing loop for a head that looks great and pushes water."
Materials:
- Hook: 60 Degree Jig (size 1/0 - 4)
- Thread: Veevus 6/0 or Veevus 140
- Tail: Strung Marabou
- Accent: Lateral Scale
- Body: UV Polar Chenille (gold) or Ripple Ice Fiber
- Accent: Grizzly Saddles or MFC Barred Saddles
- Eyes: Double Pupil Lead Eyes
- Head: Coyote
Recommended Tools:

- UV Resin or Head cement
